I was looking for something that would help me frame a painting in a floating frame. The video showed that it was easy: simply fold a piece of cardboard from the shipping box and place it between the picture and the frame along the edges. Well, after at least an hour or even two (when I first attempted to build a floating frame), I realized that unlike ordinary guys in roller skates, I needed some reliable, solid type of "spacer" to between the canvas to slip. or board and frame. These Broadfix pads are available in different strengths. Now I haven't tried them yet, but I'm definitely going to do so on the next floating frame! I expect them to do their job!
