Review on Freedom County ATV 42 1037 Polaris by Glenn Cho

Revainrating 2 out of 5

They are ok.: Shock absorbers, struts and suspension

They are ok. They seem to fit snugly around the hands. The boot is very elastic, thick and beautiful. Production feels inconsistent, some very tight and difficult to move like you'd expect from a new ball joint, and the other two felt much weaker, almost half-worn right out of the box. My biggest concern is the locking ring/clip. The clips are too small for the groove on the ball joint, or the groove is too large leaving space between the lever and the clip. This can cause the ball joint in the arm to 'lift', eventually causing the nose on the arm to wear out as the ball joint has some up and down movement. Time will tell if that's a problem for me. Next time I'll just buy American Star ball joints. As I have used these branded bushings before and they are excellent! Four ball joints from American Star would have cost me about $10 more and gave me confidence.
