Review on 🔧 Dorman 601-227 Fuel Pump Control Module - Ideal for Various Volvo Models by Conrad Greene

I installed this in a 2013 Volvo XC 90 3.2 to get the P0087 fuel rail pressure code answer low. The engine didn't run long enough for the seat belt to click. The gas pedal didn't help. I hooked up a scanner to monitor the pressure in the fuel rail. It fluctuated between 25 and 57 psi several times before dropping to zero and the engine stalled. I've restarted the car several times, same performance. I reinstalled the Volvo (Bosch) module and the car ran with a constant fuel rail pressure of 61psi but with an engine check, code P0087. I put the new part back in the car and had the same pressure fluctuations and stalling. Was hoping to save a few bucks but not this time. I'll call the Volvo dealer tomorrow.
