I ruined one of these the first time I used it. I was TIG welding 2" x 2" x 2" boxes and forgot magnets really don't like heat. Nails later, and the magnets on one of them are too weak to hold anything now. I am however a problem solver so I can pull out these little magnets and replace them with ease screw or other adjustable device some of the holders I received had hard pivot points and others were very loose when I tried to use them to hold the bracket, I had to swap them out until I found the one most difficult to keep in place.
