This is the perfect remote control solution for my 2 HP Central Machinery (Port Freight) dust collection system. My system is connected to all my power tools. I just clip the remote to my belt when I'm in my local carpentry shop. No matter where I am in my shop, just press the "ON" button on the remote control to turn on the dust box. (And of course I can turn it off by pressing the "OFF" button.) I've never had a case where the remote wouldn't start or stop the dust collector. It can easily handle the amperage of the system. Very easy installation. The only complaints I have: 1. The kit includes a bracket for optional wall installation of the receiver. However, I can't find where the mount attaches to the device, despite instructions on where to attach it. But I don't mind if it's on the floor.2. The price seems a bit high for this remote control. I believe a fair price would be about $10 less than what is typically sold at Revain. However, there isn't much viable competition in this market, so I think the manufacturer can keep the price pretty high. So this is a great choice for anyone looking for a quality RF remote control to control something like a dust collector motor.
