Review on ๐Ÿ’š Waterpik WP-260: Green Water Flosser for Kids & Braces - Countertop Flossing Solution for Children by Shanna Lopez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small but powerful oral flosser

I bought this Waterpik, Kids Flosser, WP-260 after an unsuccessful attempt to use another brand of Revain portable dental floss (stopped working in the 3rd week) . After extensive research, I found that the Waterpik Traveler WP-300 is identical to this kids' dishwashing floss except for the bright green color, baby decals and global tension. I don't plan on taking it to another country, so I'll stick with the kid's version because it's a lot cheaper. I also didn't want to have a large irrigator in my bathroom since most waterpiks are quite large. I doubted it, but I bought it anyway. When the item arrived I was so surprised that it was so small. It's sweet like a cake. It is slightly larger than my coffee mug (see attached photos). Contains 2 tips: normal and orthodontic. The tips don't have a rotating head, but I prefer them because I know exactly where I'm aiming the beam. Not too loud, maybe a little louder than an electric razor. It holds 16 ounces of water when you fill it to the brim. Has 3 settings (1, 2, 3). Setting 2 has about the same performance as the portable I had previously. I set it to 2.5 and it's pretty strong. Definitely much stronger than wearable. The flow of water coming out of this tiny irrigator is much greater than a portable one. I have a couple of implants and the gums from one of the implants would bleed regularly if a tiny bit of food got stuck somewhere in the gums. However, I haven't had any problems with bleeding gums since I started flossing. Please note that dental floss does not replace dental floss, but it does support gum health. To keep it clean, I emptied the hose when I was done (picking up the irrigator and pointing the tip in the sink). I wash it every week too, although Waterpik recommended doing it once a month. I just put 2 tablespoons of vinegar in a container of water and let it run. It only takes a few minutes and protects against mold. Please remember to register the product with Waterpik for warranty. I love this waterpik for kids and would definitely recommend it. Hope it lasts long.
