Review on Lacis Rosewood Crochet Grayish Yellow by Kelly Caballes

Received one of the Lacis rosewood crochet hooks and immediately had to buy more. I really like her. Metal, bamboo, and other wooden crochet hooks, but for now I'm stuck on these rosewood crochet hooks. The first thing that catches your eye is the very elegant design. If you see it in natural wood with partly natural grooves you will be even more impressed, but functionality is more important to me, after all I don't buy hooks to look at them, I buy them to use them. They work so well. They're light but not too light, meaning they feel firm in the hand but fly through the yarn. The metal hooks can be a bit too heavy, which is not very noticeable at first, but after hours of crocheting you will appreciate the lightness of these things. to the point where I was afraid to break it. I know it won't break, but it still didn't suit my style. The rosewood hooks are ideally placed in the middle. They are also very smooth which means none of them will snag on any of the many types/materials/weights of yarn I like to use. If you've used plastic, you know how annoying it is. I also had problems with it on bamboo hooks. The only thing that bothers me is that there is no information on the hook size in the description. This one, size 5, is also 3.5mm thick if that helps.
