Suitable for older cats.
I bought this for my senior cat. He has severe arthritis in his hind legs and had trouble getting into a regular litter box, so he was prone to having accidents on the floor outside of the litter box. This litter box has one very low wall and three high walls, making it easy for the kitten to get in. Although it's a bit small for a cat and doesn't hold as much litter as a regular cat box (due to the low wall), it's sturdy and the kitten uses it. I have to clean the box more often, but that's better than clearing the floor of the clutter.
