I LOVE what this product does but have no idea why it's in a spray bottle. It doesn't splatter, so follow label directions and apply to a cleaning pad, not directly to the wood. When I got mine, the soap bodies were completely dry, so I called Howard to see if everything was still okay. OK. They told me it was perfectly normal and needed to be shaken up. I told them that shaking doesn't destroy it. I was assured that it was not damaged. I had to stir vigorously with a plastic stick for several minutes. Since then, I've been shaking it every time I walk past the bottle - it still comes out in drips, not a squirt. Nozzle that does not spray. Aside from looks, this thing works wonders. As if the dirt melts away. Warning: This is a VERY strong soap. Do not use on coatings that cannot tolerate polar cleaners as the soap is both non-polar and polar.
