I started scrapping copper a few months ago and stripping wires has always been a labor intensive job that tires my hands. takes a bit of learning, but once you get the hang of it, it's a joy to use. I have found that using the safety gate hole slightly below the top of the reel and maintaining a small amount of tension on the cable during feed gives the best results. . Adjusting the blade down so that it presses lightly on the insulation also ensures a good cut. Too much and the strands of wire inside will be cut and turn into a mess. It's nice to see that thin copper wire, but it often takes a simple notch through the insulation to get a very satisfying, long, continuous pull of the wire out of the insulation without breaking the strands or insulation. This is a machine that saves time and effort and is worth the money. I haven't had any issues or issues with it so can't say anything bad. No regret.
