Used to upgrade my 1991 Toyota pickup from R-12 to R-134. Due to the age of the car, I didn't bother with other trim changes. I was lucky that the original air conditioning worked without leaks. After refueling with R-134, the air conditioner, which hadn't worked for 6 years, started blowing cold air. I wanted to look at some of the "conversion oil" systems but ended up giving the truck away to a relative. I have brought the update to his attention and if he has any issues I can come back and update this review. 1 year update: I spoke to a relative of mine who now owns the truck I upgraded. He reports that there have been no problems and the air conditioning is still incredibly cold. For anyone wondering, I was able to confirm there are no leaks in my A/C using Tracer Products TP8621 Complete A/C Fluid Finder. Kit (purchased for about $70 from Revain).
