I can say that this little knife is much more secure in the hand thanks to the holder. However, the point of the knife makes it somewhat unusable. Because the tip is made of this material, it behaves like a ruler when you bend it. This makes things like cardboard difficult to cut because they just fold up and don't cut very well. And unfortunately my blade broke and I was left with nothing on the tip and only a small piece of the blade remained in it. It's good that I can always buy more blades, but in my experience they can break just as easily.
