I had several closet doors that didn't close completely. These hinges were an exact replacement for a part the builder used some 20 years ago. Simply unscrew the old loop and screw on the new one. My cupboards now close properly. This item only includes the hinges (and screws) that are typically attached to the cabinet door. The mounting plate that attaches to the cabinet is a separate part (there are several options to choose from). However, if you are just replacing hinges where the door no longer closes, then one hinge is all you need. the plastic cam in the hinge broke - that's how everything went wrong for me. I also had a loud click from the hinge about halfway through. You can confirm the problem by looking inside the hinge (no need to remove the hinge or door). If you see a metal hinge pin and not a plastic cam, the cam is broken and you need a new hinge! Once you know what you're looking for, you can quickly find all of the broken hinges rather than having to take the doors off trying to figure out which ones are broken! (see circled area in photo)
