Cheaper than what you really want as other people claim. As with others, my key got messed up the first time I tried to take them off, which resulted in my changing tire (need to move a new spare to the opposite side of another new tire I was supposed to buy), turned into a job all day. You can try removing them with a 16mm or 5/8 socket after removing the swivel, but the wedges will also come loose. You will need a 1 inch nut puller to remove them after chewing through the threads. It would be a lot easier to spend the extra $10-15 on a better set. I don't think someone who has written a good review on them hasn't tried to take them off yet. But I'll tell you what, if you don't have to take them off - it'll be very bad for a thief who tries! So they have it.:.
