The tolerances on this device really need to be checked by the manufacturer. I almost never write a review, even if something is really bad, but I can't believe this product has so many good reviews. There is so much slack in the receiver link that I could put the full length of a flathead in it. I was hauling a single 5,000lb load and the constant jerking from loose connections was ridiculous. This will destroy your transmission. Don't even buy it because now the company I bought it from is charging me $11 for a return! That's absurd. You have an unsafe product that has been shown to be problematic in previous audits. I wish I had read all the negative reviews from people who knew what they were talking about. It doesn't take an engineer to figure out that sheared pin problems are the result of loosening of the entire assembly. If you're lucky the constant tugging will cause the pin to disengage from the safety chains and if you're lucky you won't have any complaints, I promise if you keep making this product. Absolutely unsafe.
