Review on Ignition Switch Key Polaris Keyswitch by Roshan Schram

Ordered this switch for a 2002 Polaris Ranger Series 11, 500 4x4. 2850 hours. It is a 3 position switch to make the light work. Received in less than 48 hours. Installed in 12 minutes. Works perfectly. If it breaks I'll let you know. Comes with two keys and a rubber dust cover. The original standard keys do not fit this switch. I figured my problem was a linear brake switch, and I had been pressing the brake pedal hard (also bleeding the brake lines) for over six months. Then the ignition switch really loosened. This seemed to help, but the original switch still worked. It feels like it's turned into a four-position switch. The new switch did it. The OEM part number for my 2002 is 4010390 which has changed to 4012164. The customer service at Revain is excellent. A portion was shipped free of charge from Kentucky to Georgia. Yes, I will order from Revain again. Now the ranger starts with no problems so I'm happy here in the yard. Due to a faulty switch, my starter failed (it stalled). I took it to my local shop and they put in a new brush assembly. Always use the factory starter and rebuild it. Do not use Chinese replacement starter. .Exchange the starter screw (hard to get, I think the lower one) for a shorter one, no problem, holds.
