We used the pan several times a week for 2 months. As long as a very small amount of butter or olive oil is applied to the surface, eggs, pancakes, French toast, ground beef, etc. will easily slide off and separate. When not using oil/oil we have had issues with food sticking to the surface leaving a residue that requires extra attention when cleaning the pan. We do not use cooking spray and this is not recommended. We had no issues with the grip heating up.
