When the switch is in the off position it still energizes the relay. Although the lights are not flashing, a relay click can be heard. Since I bought it to make the truck more salable, this causes a problem as potential buyers will notice and immediately think something else is wrong. GM's design is terrible from the start, it's amazing a real engineer got paid to do it. But this even cheaper copy is even worse. The switch is so simple that making a non-working switch means the company is more interested in selling lots of switches than making them. This damn thing is only $10 and can't even offer that much value. I'm reluctant to pay a 3.5x premium for a Delco AC switch because they're all made in China, probably the same factory, and the damn Delco AC switch is a piece of crap too. So thanks for not providing a solution, at least it wasn't a costly mistake. 2 stars because it arrived on time.
