Review on 🚲 RXL SL Carbon Stem: High Performance Bicycle Stem for Road MTB Mountain Bike Stems - 6/17 Degree, 3K/UD Matte/Glossy Handlebar Stem by Ryan Selpasoria

This stem was mounted on a carbon mountain bike with RXL SL carbon handlebars. Tightened to the required 5 nm. Less than 30 miles later the shaft made a loud pop and this is the result. Cracks around set screws. I have used RXL SL carbon products in the past with great success but I am very disappointed with them. While I believe the structural integrity of the wand has remained intact (carbon coating on the metal), I cannot continue to use or recommend this wand, and I am still unsure of the safety of a product that does.
