I had these on a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 with Dual 4WD and 22.5" wheels for increased rolling resistance and stopping power. The first set replaced the stock Mopars, and I immediately noticed better grip than a new truck with stock 17-inch wheels. Unfortunately when they finally wore out I was in a dilemma and due to poor timing on my part I replaced them. with Wagner Thermoquiet ceramics. Huge mistake. I immediately noticed how soft the braking was. I even bled the brakes and put in new fluid with no noticeable difference. Wagners just didn't have the bite that Akebono Ceramics had. Now it's time to swap out the fronts again and to be honest I'm glad I can put the Akebonos back on.
