Overall this is an attractive and easy upgrade for your garage door but I have a suggestion at the end of my review in case you are considering buying the product and there is an old garage door. So the assembly of these plastic parts is very easy. The parts are simply attached to the garage door with magnets. Pieces almost jump onto your door as they approach. However, two issues were identified when adjusting the placement on day two. 1: The magnets are loose. One of the two moving parts now has a magnet. Luckily, the magnet stuck to the garage door and easily snapped back into the plastic. 2: Magnets mark the garage door. When I removed one of the pieces, I noticed that the magnet left a small gray mark on the garage door after clarifying its position by sliding the piece slightly. The marker is hidden where I think I'll hold the piece, so it didn't bother me; However, this can be an issue when parts need to be moved around a bit. This can also be because our garage doors are old and haven't been painted for a long time. I'm sure these issues won't stop me from using the product as the parts are already installed and look good. If I were to purchase another set I would recommend the following to hold the magnets in place and ensure the garage door does not mark: Before installing: 1) Ensure all magnets are securely attached to each part are; a small drop of super glue may help. 2) Stick a small piece of clear tape over the magnet. This should prevent the magnet from hitting the garage door; Be careful as using thick tape will reduce the effectiveness of the magnets. 3) Before installation, confirm where you want to attach the handles to avoid moving the handles on the garage door more than necessary. We really like the look of this product and I think you will too. Good luck with whatever you decide.
