My entire wireless network is Linksys products, so when I wanted a wireless print server I naturally went with Linksys. I went and bought a Linksys WPS11. This is a parallel port wireless print server. Everything worked, but printing is very slow. Sometimes 1-2 minutes between pages in text documents. Then I went and bought a PPS1UW print server. This is the USB version of Linksys. I couldn't even get this thing to work with my printer, which I found odd since my printer worked fine with WPS11 and forced you to install the same print server drivers. After spending about 3 days troubleshooting, I went back to the store and found the DLink DP-311U. Brought it home, plugged it in, and immediately connected to my Linksys WRT54G wireless router with 128-bit WEP encryption. This print server processes my print jobs at the same speed as if the printer were directly connected to the computer. I was also impressed with the detail of the documentation, unlike some other Linksys products I've purchased. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a way to keep your printer away from your computer. Good product.
