I needed a replacement hinge for my church wood toilet seat as the plastic hinges broke. The big stores didn't have anything so I measured the ones that were there and it looked like they would fit. The hinges I had were installed horizontally and this is a vertical mount. So once they are aligned you will need to drill some new holes to attach them properly. I had to readjust the hinge by loosening the screw on the underside of the hinge 180 degrees and then retightening the screw. This worked well as several of the existing holes in the wooden seat matched, so I first only installed the closest mounting holes on the seat and lid, and then mounted the back of the seat to the toilet using the threaded bolts provided. After hand attaching the seat back, I made sure the cover and seat could move properly, then I drilled the remaining 1/16" mounting holes to secure the hinge to the seat bottom and cover with the remaining screws No need to replace them anymore - problem solved for me!
