Keep this in mind when replacing the 2001-2007 thermostat.
Note that when replacing the thermostat on a 2001-2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, the exhaust is designed to only fit one way (with a large rounded corner at the top right when looking at the engine) ). If you put a big rounded corner the other way, it will hit the engine, and when the bolts are tightened, the case flange will flex and coolant will flow. The thermostat gasket should also be replaced along with the thermostat.
