Obviously this thing isn't as reliable as Snap-On, but it costs five times less. I think for the average person who fixes ball joints once or twice a year this should be more than enough. It comes with a good selection of parts and parts, as well as an application manual so you don't have to guess which ones to use (which I've certainly shown on two occasions). The main clip isn't bulletproof, but it's good. enough to do it. I'd definitely use plenty of lube on the threads and at the various points of contact, and the instructions specifically state not to use a percussion gun, so I haven't tried it. It only takes 30 seconds to screw the ball joint by hand anyway, so who cares? If the metallurgy on the "C" itself was a bit more reliable I would give it five stars, but still I think it's worth the money and will likely hold up for years to come.
