I chose this as a first set for my lathe which for the price and as a beginner to turning doesn't mind as I don't have to ruin an expensive tool. The order was shipped and delivered quickly. However, when I opened the box, it turned out that the post holding the chisels was broken, the middle bar had fallen off, and some of the spikes on the bottom post had broken off. In general it's fine, a little superglue and the box will be like new. Most tools are poorly sharpened and I highly recommend sharpening before use. The 3/16 split tool was unevenly sharpened to a point, same story with a few other tools. The point is, you get what you pay for. However, not the worst product and certainly not the best will get the job done.
