Review on Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones, black by Alvin Lee ᠌

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

These are my first wireless headphones. I switched to them after my audio-technika m40x broke in its most vulnerable place - in the attachment of the earpiece to the speakers. I chose from sony x4, bowers & wilkins, bose and other analogues, which have already been written about here. By sound, these are doing everything. But if they looked worse, I would definitely choose something from the competition. Vneshka finally bribed, and I decided that I would make peace with the shortcomings that this model IS. It's not perfect, it's highly controversial, and if you want to make your life easier, get air pods, WH-1000XM4, marshalls, whatever. The battery in my model works very strangely. The charge is shown in twenties, i. E. 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, etc., and every 20% lasts an average of 2 hours, but when it gets to 20, the headphones work for another day and a half. I don't know how it works, but enough of them is generally fine. p. the solution with speakers sliding along the rim, by the way, is quite easy. You go to any plumbing store and buy a few rubber rings there (the size should be small so that the ring fits snugly behind the protruding part with the Senkh logo). That's it, the problem is solved: the ring creates an additional layer, and the earpiece sits very tightly. Moreover, this is almost invisible (and if you find white ones, you won’t see it for sure). I drop the photo. p. P. smart pause works great, perfectly reads all the removal / putting on of the headphones. I don’t understand what the dissatisfaction of neighboring commentators is.

Pros
  • Pros: - very cool sound when turned on. By sound, by its purity, by the audibility of individual instruments, these are the best headphones in their segment. - equalizer settings are saved in the headphones themselves, not on the phone - bluetooth connection works very well. For several months of active use, the headphones fell off only a few times. - metal case - real leather - general design (which, frankly, was the reason that I chose them, and not more technological and more convenient counterparts) - three connection options (wireless, jack and type-c) - very fast switching between two devices - good noise canceling - in general, a good microphone for phone calls - once again - sound!
Cons
  • Minuses: - switching off by folding. Moreover, you can turn off the headphones by holding the "play" button for 3-4 seconds, but turn it back on only by folding and unfolding, which in my opinion is an idiotic idea, and I trust this place in the headphones the least. But the bow is metal - FASTENING! The mount does not have separate fixing positions, the headphones themselves walk freely along the recess. Yes, when buying, they told me: "well, you put them under yourself and you won't move them anymore." No matter how! I am a fan of wearing headphones on a hat, I am a fan of wearing them around my neck, I am a fan of running sometimes, and all these actions assume that the headphones will move up and down a little. Conclusion: after 3 months they became so loose that when running, for example, after a minute they are no longer held on the bow, but on my ears, they simply hang on top of them, and even when walking gradually go down, and if you hang them around your neck, then they fall to the very bottom, and each time you put them on, you have to set them up again, which naturally loosens them even more. Naturally, this is inconvenient and unacceptable for headphones at this price. It is not clear whose idea it was to make such mounts, but it was unsuccessful. - poor sound quality in the off state (below, on the first screen, I apply the settings of a separately downloaded equalizer, which I found more or less normal for myself, but still with the ears turned off, the sound is an order of magnitude worse) - A lot of bass, but this is fixed by the equalizer in the application, which, again, prescribes the settings in the drivers of the headphones themselves. Wherever you plug them in, they will sound the way you put them on your phone. The second screenshot is my settings for the included headphones - well, yes, the charge is kept for 3-4 days, not super much - if the headphones are paired with two devices, then the notification on one turns off the sound on the other for a good 10 seconds. Which makes using a two-device connection pointless, I stopped using it.
