Battery was low on arrival but unit was good after replacement

The thermometer arrived but it wouldn't turn on so I checked the battery and it was well below the voltage required it should display. After replacement, the thermometer works perfectly. It reads a lot faster than others I've used before and it's easy to use. The timer is very basic but gets the job done. It was a nice bonus.
