Review on Beck Arnley 043 3000 Fuel Filter by Kevin Carr

If I had known how easy it was to change this filter, I would have done it many years ago. My car (2005 Scion xB) has 310,000 miles. I replaced the fuel tank last week due to rust which was quite a pain, but when I put it back together I still had to fiddle with the connections; In any case, there is an access hatch under the rear seat to access the fuel pump. It is held in place with soft glue. So I lifted it up and the fuel pump was right there. Had I known that, I probably would have changed that little filter at 100, 200 and 300k, not when I removed my fuel tank. To anyone complaining that manufacturers put fuel filters in the tank to reduce serviceability, STFU. It can literally be replaced as quickly as one of those pesky built-in fuel filters. Anyway, here's another 300,000 miles on my stock fuel pump.
