could be a little more durable

The only thing I don't like about Worksharp is that the straps feel a little faster than they should. You run through them because once they've worn out a bit, it takes you three or four times as many runs to beef them up than you started. Tip: Start with rougher belts if you don't just plan to touch up - and if this is your first time sharpening a knife on the KO Worksharp, always use rough tape first to turn the blade from beveled to convex, even if the Blade is already sharp enough. I say this because if you don't it will really smash medium to thin belts and wear out the abrasive as they are more for shaping and polishing the steel than for stripping. Just a few passes of coarser tape should help a lot in this regard.
