could be a little more durable

The only thing I don't like about Worksharp is that the straps feel a little faster than they should. You run through them because once they've worn out a bit, it takes you three or four times as many runs to beef them up than you started. Tip: Start with rougher belts if you don't just plan to touch up - and if this is your first time sharpening a knife on the KO Worksharp, always use rough tape first to turn the blade from beveled to convex, even if the Blade is already sharp enough. Very sharp. To the right!

I hate sharpening knives. Did I mention I hate sharpening knives? Because I hate sharpening knives! Now let's talk about this amazing tool! Original equipment replacement belts

The Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition sharpener is a sturdy tool that works very well, but over time the grinding belts will need to be replaced. Thinking "why take the risk?" I bought a set of original belts to replace. My kit includes extra coarse, coarse, medium, fine, and extra fine straps.
