My vacuum is a 6 gallon Husky (Home Depot brand) vacuum that uses VF4000 series hard filters. I decided to try this Kopach filter. In the first picture you can see how the vacuum cleaner filter end cap fits the original filter. The second picture shows a new Kopach filter with the end cap in the "normal" position. As you can see, the Kopacz filter is shorter than the standard filter and does not close that way. In the third picture, I flipped the end cap and slightly squeezed the end of the new filter to fit the inverted filter. end cap. So it fits perfectly and works great. The Kopach filter costs about 20% less than the VF4000 filter. Hope it stays the same.
