Car electronics very weak signal

UPDATE 6/21/13. After spending 2 years buying additional antennas and moving these devices around the fifth wheel, 80% of the time these devices were offline due to no signal so we gave up and bought the Furrion. We can't tell you how happy we are about it. A lot more money but worth it. Just drove 800 miles at Cedar Point and all 3 Furrions never lost signal. This waste of money is sold at the yard for those who have an RV shorter than our rather short 37ft. Earlier Remarks. April 2019 The cameras actually work pretty well when standing still. The problem is that they go out while driving. Support sent another antenna and it helped a little but didn't solve the problem. It always seems to be missing when I need to backup it. I have tried other antennas but not more than half the time. I also have an antenna on the roof of our 2500HD, no difference. Our fifth wheel is only 37 feet long. If we can get the system to see itself better, I think it's a very good system. Especially for money. But I'm almost ready to mark it as a bad investment, bite the bullet and buy the Furrion system. MUCH more money. There's no guarantee it'll perform better, but we have friends who own a 35ft RV who claim they never lose signal when traveling with the Furrion. My 2 and 3 stars are good. When it works, it looks very nice. If it had a better signal and we could actually use it I would give it 5 stars for the whole 19-Feb-21 update. I'm still having trouble with this system to get it working. Gets worse with every ride. Tried 4 different antennas. The device does not display video more than 80% of the time. Turns on and off. I'm giving it away or selling it cheaply to someone who has a very short motorhome, maybe it suits them. I couldn't imagine how bad it would do if we had a 40-foot fifth wheel.
