Obviously one of the items has already been used. It's scratched, stained and oily. When I dipped the other part into the boiling water, the coffee grounds began to flow out from under the red o-ring. Every part was also covered in dust/dirt but I just washed it off with soapy water. The handle also wobbles a lot from side to side. TERRIBLE QC (1st unit) Edit: I received a total of three units, all of which were used and covered in dirt/dust. The rubber grip is dirty. There are coffee/water stains in the chamber. My second replacement even had coffee grounds in the chamber. The butt is spotted, the top of the butt is badly scratched. These scratches are caused by a piece of metal/bearing on the grip pressing against the metal surface of the piston. Apparently, Flair sends used returns to customers. That's ridiculous.
