Pet Bird Accessories You Never Thought Of

First off I have to say that this planter should be hung OUTSIDE of the cage. I don't think it's clearly stated in the online description. Also, it's a lot bigger than I imagined. However, my disappointments were short-lived. As an animal and plant lover (and I bet most of you!) I am in love with this article right now. It brings their worlds together. I'm not sure my parrot will appreciate it but I like it. I suppose some kind of nature around him is good for him - it's good for us, right? Please look at the picture I uploaded. Planter made of durable plastic in terracotta colour. It hangs outside the cage and has a short green pole on its side of the cage. There is a detachable section at the bottom of the planter that acts as a platform when you fill in the soil and plant or if you decide to use it as a regular planter elsewhere in the house. Turn it upside down and it becomes a drip tray that, like most good planters, catches overflowing water. The nozzle is designed to fit almost any cage with HORIZONTAL bars. Not sure if this will work with the side bars as the portion of the perch that protrudes through the bars is about 1" wide. This helps secure it. You can hang it in the cage, but you need a big cage for this because it's quite big. Also, be very careful what you plant inside as some plants can hold a bird. I put my Swedish ivy in it - I don't know if it's poisonous to Mikey so I won't risk it. I'll keep it trimmed so it doesn't slip into the cage. This is the pet accessory you never thought of! Because of this, it adds a lot of interest to the cage. People will comment, trust me. Update: I'm sorry. I promised a picture but when I try to upload it I can't! I don't think they want me to share this with you. I am sorry.
