This needle adapter works well. I had to open the hole at the end of the needle because it was partially blocked due to the hole not being drilled in the center of the tapered needle. Also, this adapter can be quite messy if you don't press down on the standard grease gun sleeve when applying the grease. The solution to this problem is to replace the standard clutch with a lubricated locking clutch such as those sold by JoyTutus, LockNLube or Lumax. I did and now I can lubricate my gear with less dirt and debris.
