Review on TEKCHIC 60W Professional Wood Burning Kit: Pro Pyrography Tool with 20 Wire Nibs Tips and Ball Tips (with Case) by Amber Perez

So this is the update for me. I used a $10 wood burning tool from Harbor Freight with screw-in tips, and it worked well for a beginner (in the photos I've attached, the silhouette of the mountain in blue pyro paint was done with a $10 tool). But I knew I needed something "more" to improve my game and increase my skills. I was arguing between this and the Colwood brand and to be honest I know Colwood is an amazing brand but I went with this one because it was $50 cheaper and the reviews available weren't bad. .and now for the details: I just played with it a bit (see the other two photos of the cowboy/horse, the bee and the coffee). It's very different from the tool I'm used to, but that's on me, not the tool itself. I struggle with the temperature dial and readout. It is displayed in volts. I've googled how to convert volts to watts and/or temperature but it seems like a foreign language to me. So I have no idea what temperature I'm burning at and so it's a game of trial and error and adjusting that tiny screw. When I pray, I know what I'm doing. oh, and if I flip the switch between the two knobs without changing the dial, it shows two different voltage readings. It is in order? In any case. I don't think it's a bad car, I just think there should be better instructions for incurable blondes like me and given time and lots of practice I'm sure I'll master all the mysteries of the pyrography universe. Yes, and we are talking about instructions. The paper instructions that came with my Tekchic wood burner read verbatim the same as the instructions on the Colwood brand's website for YOUR wood burner. hmm, that's interesting.
