Review on 🚴 Fizik R5 Overcurve Tempo Cycling Shoe by Kyle Miller

I bought these to replace a pair of 17 year old Specialized shoes that I liked but served as Zwift boots and colder weather boots. I recently bought a Fizik R1 Infinito for the road. I paid $278 for them and I have to say they are actually more comfortable. I bought 0.5 EU sizes bigger because I wanted to wear thicker socks on cold days outside. The outsole isn't as stiff as the R1, but unless you're a pro sprinter they should do. The upper is softer than the R1 and the toe box feels larger for more comfort. I have fitted them with special body geometry insoles which make them even more comfortable but that is due to years of use and they are custom made to my foot. I wear US size 10.5 and need to wear very thin socks with size R1 43.5 and with that I bought 44 and can wear thicker socks.
