Bought two of these to fix the power steering hardline on my 2004 Volvo V70. I removed the failed section of tubing, got a spare length and used these couplers to install the spare tubing. I tightened the fittings fairly tight to make sure there were no leaks. I did this repair about 5 months ago and there were no leaks. The fittings rust very easily, so I smeared them with used motor oil the last time I changed the oil. I would love to see more tips included in this kit. If I screwed up the repair I'd have to buy separate tips and probably wait a few extra days. For the price they worked very well. If I had to do the repair again I would probably choose corrosion resistant versions of this 10mm fitting like brass or stainless steel. If they are used in applications with a low risk of rusting then they will do just fine.
