Bought mine in the stainless steel version. No matter what kind of metal surface you buy, the acrylic sleeve will break and the grinder will spin uselessly. Even with proper operation, it takes a lot of turning to get a negligible amount of coarsely ground pepper. And it can only produce coarse grinding.
