I just bought my DD Toyota Celica 7th Gen 2000-2005. The stock antenna was worn and loose and the VHF signal was pretty weak. I was looking for a replacement antenna. I bought another antenna that said it was Toyota compatible but the threaded tab was too small (fortunately it fitted my Lexus IS300 perfectly and matched the OEM antenna. You can find it here on Amazon that fits a Celica are listed but they want about $22 for it. I bought this antenna with the idea of replacing the entire antenna assembly. To my surprise, the antenna mast of this antenna fits perfectly onto the threaded mount on the Toyota Celica GT. I screwed that on. Problem solved. I haven't been able to identify it as reception yet, but I'll let you know if there are any reception problems. I know I could put a short antenna on this machine and it would look better, but my previous experience with more than one of them is that it destroys radio reception and they seem to break very easily. For the price this antenna is the perfect solution for any Celica besi tzer who wants to replace an OEM antenna with something that does not require modification, namely adapters , and break at ema. NOTE: These photos have the new antenna installed on the vehicle and the original antenna is shown for comparison.
