This was delivered in one day for $12 (thanks to Mr. Bezo), so if it works it's a win, right? It works great, I have it lying sideways under a 16x8 inch acrylic case that Matilda has (she's looking in the corner) with a little East Box turtle. This allows it to move to warmer places or to cooler places outside of the heated section. I use a laser instrument to measure the temperature. The temperature control works, but again it was $12 shipping and, as is usual for the country of origin, the assembly is a little loose and the dial rotates slightly. I used a piece of 2" tape across the dial and taped its location to the case so it doesn't move when the cord is pushed. I also added a magic mark "reference line" so I know where 80F is.It holds up very well and rises and falls only a few tenths of a degree from the setting.Very happy and it does what I wanted!Special K
