So I needed new 5" perforated Velcro sanding pads for my Porter Cable Sander. After checking out a few different sellers on Revain I made a purchase through this company, ESPECIALLY since they listed mine. This grinder is one of the styles that these grinding wheels go with. When I received them and opened the packaging of my large order I was quite impressed with the quality. The wheel had multiple perforations @ 3/8", so that the sawdust could be collected in the dust collection nozzle. My PC grinder has 5 holes and their disc has about 9 or 10, so I think it's a universal disc that fits many other grinders as well as my PC grinder. The holes on your disc are evenly spaced in a circular pattern, so you don't have to install the disc in any particular orientation to attach and use it. Put it on and go to work, right. NOT RIGHT. The disc diameter is 5 inches, as it should be, check the box. The problem is that the holes in the new sanding disc do NOT line up with the holes on my sanding pad mount. Out of the five holes on my pad, their grinding wheel completely covers TWO of my holes and blocks them 100%. The other three holes on my pad only partially open when the disc is attached. The largest hole in a hole is half a 3/8 inch hole, which is 50%, about 1/3 the size of your little pinky finger. The other two remaining sensor holes are 85-90% blocked. I end up preferring to just order a full 5" disc with no perforations and punch my holes. I took photos but can't upload photos at the moment for unknown reasons. So my skills work with my hands and all sorts of tools lol oh, by the way, even though I knew 100% that hole alignment orientation didn't matter, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rotated their grinding wheel 360 degrees to see if the wheel aligned with my holes will still grind, but there will be a lot of dust flying around that cannot be picked up by the holes in the dust collection nozzle, so you can sand outside on a fresh day and not inside.
