Review on Fuller Brush Kitchen Broom Head: Heavy Duty Floor Sweeper with Fine Long Bristles, Made in USA by Anthony Gupta

Revainrating 3 out of 5

"Heavy " is not the same as "heavy duty ". Doesn't live up to its reputation Fuller Brush

I rarely review my purchases but this purchase was so disappointing I decided to give everyone a feedback. I needed a replacement household kitchen broom when I couldn't clean my current one. I chose this broom because I trusted the Fuller Brush name. The broom that arrived was not what I expected for several reasons: a) the handle was split in two and they couldn't connect properly; b) a tiny brush - a children's broom, only it is made of metal and too heavy for small children; c) two items had a Fuller Brush stamp, the third did not; d) the handle feels rough and unpolished as if it has been used or buffed; e) the handle itself is much shorter than the standard size of a kitchen broomstick; f) it does not have long bristles because the broom head is tiny. This broom does not clean the floor in my kitchen at all. I have to use twice as many strokes to get the same coverage as my old broom. I will discard this as a bad buy and buy a clone of my old broom. UPDATE: I couldn't find a replacement broom with the same soft bristles as this broom so I kept it and have used it in the past. a few months. I'm increasing my rating to 3. The bristles are really very soft and they sweep well on our bamboo park. The handle didn't fall apart even though it's a bit short for me. I'm used to reaching out a bit to get into corners and leaning forward to sweep up debris. I would say this is a good broom if you have bamboo or other not very hard wooden floors due to the bristles.
