Review on TP-Link Deco X60: Ultimate Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi3-Pack with WiFi 6 AX3000 by Keize Barraza

Speeds aren't impressive

Update: 2 stars -> 4 stars. Enabling IPv6 has boosted speeds to 250-350Mbps, which is a nice boost. I'm still not happy with it, but it will be effective for my non-tech parents as long as I get something better. First Review: I am shocked by the lack of manual configuration options available to the user. My main decor is placed centrally between two other decors, one of them is connected to the main decor and the other one is connected to this decor and not the main decor for some reason. The connection from the main decompression device to the other decom appears to be stuck at 2.4GHz, resulting in speeds in the 100-150Mbps range on both mesh decos. Both are slightly in the 5GHz range of the main signal, which would give me a full 465Mbps connection, but I have no way of forcing 5GHz between decos! Most of my home can now only provide 1/4 of my measured internet speed. If you look at the app for tweaking and changing settings, it's obvious that it's stripped down for ease of use, with no advanced mode to really delve into the network and tweak it for your use case. On their forums, many people have asked for advanced features over the years, each with a general answer: we'll ask our engineers to take care of it. That's probably fine for most people, but for more advanced users, a $300+ Wi-Fi setup should have more reliable options like all the other $200+ Wi-Fi systems I've used. Unfortunately I am sending them back.
