While it's not 100% the same as the filter I just pulled out of my W204, it doesn't really matter. It fits and works very well. The first thing you need is a Torx T20 screwdriver. This is necessary to remove the cover from the case. The second most important thing to know is that this filter only fits into the housing one way. Position it so that when you slide the lock after installation, it slides toward the front of the vehicle. The filter material itself is the same as the OEM and although the frame is slightly different, this does not affect the performance of the filter. Also remember that this is not permanent hardware. They'll replace it at least every year (more often if you live in dusty areas), so you don't have to rebuild or redesign it. Conclusion: It works. Installation takes 10-15 minutes. Save some money and make this very easy DIY thing.
