It works for W204

While it's not 100% the same as the filter I just pulled out of my W204, it doesn't really matter. It fits and works very well. The first thing you need is a Torx T20 screwdriver. This is necessary to remove the cover from the case. The second most important thing to know is that this filter only fits into the housing one way. Position it so that when you slide the lock after installation, it slides toward the front of the vehicle. The filter material itself is the same as the OEM and although…

Save money and install it yourself

This is not my first time ordering this filter. This is the same one they install when you go to the dealer but they will charge you a few hundred dollars for the installation. The previous cabin air filter I had was in a 30,000 mile car. The Mercedes service manual recommends changing the filters every 2 years or 20,000 miles (basically whenever Service B is required). There are several videos on youtube that show you how to change the filter on a car. On my W212 E class the filter is under…

Day and night. Such a difference that it took 15 minutes to fit a cabin air filter on my wife's E350. Your car had that awful smell when you first turned it on in the morning. As I rarely drove her car, I didn't feel the full effect of the strange smell until my car was in the shop. Installing this filter IMMEDIATELY and COMPLETELY eliminated that smell forever. This should be done at least once a year or so. This is of great importance. You'll see. If you have an unpleasant smell when you…

Works great as an OEM!

This is a great buy! I bought this filter to replace an old cabin air filter in my 2014 Mercedes-Benz C250 when I had a musty smell in the vents and cabin after each use of the air conditioning. . After seeing the price of this filter I decided to try this one and when I got it it looked very similar to the original OEM MB cabin filter that the car came with. I would suggest watching YouTube videos to understand and install this filter in your Mercedes Benz. With the right tools and a little…

Perfect fit - like Mercedes OEM

I replaced the charcoal cabin filter on my Mercedes SL550 today after driving 16,000 miles, this CUK 29005 fits perfectly and is identical to the original filter which I removed which also man CUK was. 29005. The filter is located under the panel under the glove box. Here's how: slide the passenger carpet under the dash, fold it back and lay it on the floor, unscrew the two Torx screws (Torx25) on the front edge of the trim (I understand other models may have three screws, mine has two and one…

Great quality and fit but tedious installation

Fits perfectly on my 2012 Mercedes C250 although there is a soft plastic tag on the top which my OEM filter didn't have; However, this did not lead to any problems with the installation. It would be nice if this came in a sealed plastic bag as activated charcoal is known to degrade by absorbing odors with prolonged exposure to air (so it is recommended to replace it every year) and this item is not dated at least as far as I could see, so there's no way of telling how long it's been on display.
