I used a PVC pipe cutting tool and it worked great.

Installed on 2000 GMC Sonoma 4.3L. The description on RockAuto says the fit fits (and probably the Revain does too). I had to trim about 2-3 inches from the engine side and about 1 inch from the radiator side. Fit will be afterwards. No problem. I used a PVC pipe cutting tool and it worked great.
