These needles are the best I have ever used. I went with the shorter 4 inch set because I have small hands and they fit my hands well. They have good sharp needles for knitting lace and the yarn slides over the needles. The metal is brushed, which is useful when working with very slippery yarn. This cable is available in US sizes 2 through 15. It contains several cables of large and small sizes. The small braids fit needles 2 through 8 and the large braids fit needles 9 through 15. The large and small braids refer to the end of the braid that is threaded onto the needle, not the length of the braid. Additional cables of various lengths are available at low cost. The cables are the best I've ever used. They have no memory, which means they don't curl or twist. They come in a good quality zipped cloth case with an extra pocket for cord storage. Each needle set has its own pocket and additional needle storage compartments that you can duplicate. For example, I like to have extra sets of six and seven and be able to keep them in my own bag just below the other set. This is the largest set I have found in terms of needle count and the price is great!
