Review on πŸ”ͺ Titanium Coated High Speed LepoHome Cutter for Improved Performance by Jason Childs

umm, right? - industrial drill

where to start lol. First, I've never seen a titanium coating wear away during the first few turns of such a tool. Second, the 1/4" shank was out of tolerance. I put it in Milwaukee, it actually got stuck in there. Third, I used my good TEMO bit to make the first hole. I bought this set, because some of the holes need to be bigger. So most of the work got done down to 20mm or so. I had to go down to 24 or 26mm. This tool didn't actually cut the metal it smeared it. The biting edges didn't do the job, but in the end , the rest of the edge caught and tugged at the metal. Drilling is hard. The pushing and smearing of the metal kept turning the metal around so it rolled around inside. This really annoyed him. I tried doing it on the other side with a step drill but the metal rolled back too far, with this tool I would have to enlarge the hole.I applied considerable force, enough to bend even the panel I was drilling. On d On the reverse side I used my automatic file (you could call it a handheld band saw) and then used the ballpoint pen to push the panel back. All in all probably the worst tool I have ever bought. TEMO is now also available in other sizes. I'm sticking with them, they're a great Unibit.

Pros
  • metalworking and universal drill
Cons
